Here’s a fun AMY/DC promo that Dean created back in the wonderful pre-pandemic days when bands could actually get together for rehearsals.

Prior to ‘Mikey and his Uke’, Mikey was best known as the frontman for the Fairmounts, a popular Toronto based punk band featuring the very talented Phil Page, Simon Head and Andrew McMullen.
The video they’d planned for their sophomore album, Eik Namo (released in 2020) was derailed by the pandemic, but will hopefully be completed at some point in the future.
In the meantime, here’s a link to the video they did for their first album, Kiddo.

“These videos kept me sane and busy at a time I really needed to be sane and busy. They were and remain a TON of fun to make.
“Mikey is the man!!”
Darrin Pfeiffer
Dangerous Darrin is probably best known for his work with Goldfinger and Punk Rock Karaoke, but those are only the tip of the iceberg in terms of all the projects he’s involved in, including - thankfully - Mikey and his Uke! Darrin brings so much to the series, both as a musician and as a member of the team. Together, he and Mikey establish the lineups and work directly with the artists.
This clip is of Mikey and Darrin’s Green Day cover band, The Dookies, performing at Amnesia Rockfest in Montebello, Quebec.
If you watch closely, you’ll catch a glimpse of the lovely Emily Bones running out to help Mikey when his guitar becomes unplugged, right after the first chorus.
